Essential Photoshop Shortcuts (Hotkeys)
F (Cycle Screen Modes) — Switch between normal screen, full screen with task bar without title bar, and full screen with black background. Works great when used in conjunction with Tab to hide toolbars — maximum working space, no distractions.
X (Switch Colors) — Swap your foreground and background colors. Very handy when working with masks.

This is my personal favorite free font website. Everybody loves Helvetica, but sometimes you just gotta mix things up a bit. Besides, I personally could go through any sans-serif section for a few hours… Keep in mind that you can download and install these to the Media Cloister computers, but just remember which computer you were using!

Good site for free PS brushes →
Brushes are great. You can use them to add texture to an image, make it look distressed, or simply just use a cool brush for a graphic effect. This website isn’t obviously the only one to offer tons of free brushes, but the quality is pretty darn good for being free.

If you haven’t already met FFFFOUND! you should. The user-based content is updated by the minute and is great for design inspiration. From vintage graphic design to student-work, there’s a lot to look at. (They also just have cool stuff in general.)

Good site for free vectors →
Vectors are a really great tool if you don’t want to spend hours making your own graphics. (And they make a simple poster look really snappy.) Most of the files are formatted for Illustrator, but no worries! They can be easily used in Photoshop as well.
